More portfolio stuff

This was an introductory promo I worked on Q4 2009. The speaker was filmed in front of a green-screen (that was, in fact, blue, but I somehow think most people consider the technique as 'green-screen') and keyed out, placed in front of a completely digital backdrop. That I made. Have a look:

I will put together a breakdown of this video when I find the time. I also want to give a shout to Maltaannon, creator of the fantastic CE Lightwrap preset for After Effects. Man, that baby totally sold this video!

More

A project I worked on last year. The video frames were used from a template by DropDrop.com due to time constraints:

The speaker is Adam Gilchrist, an Australian test cricketer.

Incoming!

This is a blog created for, I must confess, a slightly too specific purpose. Reason being, I'm wishing to register with The Motion Exchange, but to do so, you need a website. I don't have my own site, so I'm hoping a blog will suffice for now. To kick things off, here are a few things I've done over the past year:

This is a quick breakdown of a shot of the Earth used in a presentation. Rendered in 3D Studio Max and composited in After Effects.

The following was thrown together for my girlfriend's birthday last year. As such, the animation has suffered due to time constraints:

Finally, here is a bit of fun, playing with Mocha now that it is bundled with After Effects CS4:
